**General Description**
Summary / Overview: Lean Project Engineer's primary responsibilities will include Lean course development and instruction and Lean macro project management. Engineer will be part of the Fab Engineering training team and will be involved with statistics training, SAS Academy, Tech Shop and other Fab Engineering quality initiatives. Additional responsibilities can include web site design and management of scripts and databases. Specific Job Duties: Lean Project Engineer will instruct Lean courses on average 10 hours per week. Engineer will own updating current Lean courses with new and relevant materials. Engineer will own developing new courses to expand the Lean library and training program. Lean Project Engineer will manage multiple projects and work with Fab Engineering to identify, organize and facilitate company macro events. Macro events will focus on continuous improvements for the company and unit part initiatives to improve current systems and processes.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required: BS or MS in Engineering 4+ years Semiconductor or Lean experience Lean Bronze certification required, Silver Certification highly recommended Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools: (List MOST important requirements first. Then list soft skills and desired (but not required), experience: Required Skills: The candidate must demonstrate strong instruction and classroom skills and show experience with adult education. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to interface with employees of all levels across the organization. The candidate must demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule and teach evening classes as required Desired Skills: Experience with the Lean program including project, certification and mentoring requirements. Experience with SharePoint design and editing Experience with Excel macro creation and Power Point design Experience with JMP software Experience with web design including Vb.net, JavaScript and HTML Experience with SQL data mining
